Positive Art is an independent group of creative persons who use various art forms to express themselves about hiv/aids. Positive Art features art by hiv-positive persons as well as non-pwhas, by pwhas who are open about their status and others who are anonymous. The usage of art for purposes of information and propaganda out to society is a tool that we use actively with the goal of keeping hiv/aids in focus. We hope to help people to think, reflect and hopefully to react when it comes to prevention, and also as a means to help stop the stigmatization and discrimination experienced by pw has.
All artists are welcome to participate at our exhibitions, regardless of race, sexual orientation or age
.

The important thing is that your artistic message can help to give an aids-political message, to stop stigmatization and discrimination, or simply disseminate information in a creative way.

Positive Art welcomes participants from diverse art forms, including visual arts, poetry and other texts, music etc.

Positive Art presents their second exhibition. A handful of artists have been invited to share their creative thoughts and expressions about hiv/aids, to show solidarity with persons living with the aids virus, and to help fight against stigmatization and discrimination. It is an aim of this exhibition to show that hiv/aids is still an active challenge in these times of presumed normalization and inclusiveness
